  • 4.16 HVAC Week 5 - Tigers Turn out Top Times!

    Lindsey Bachman
A tremendous team of Tigers took the RC Wednesday for their final home and regular meet of the season. joined by their more than excited 5th grade teammates for the first time, the energy was beyond high and smiles and high fives were too many to count! also in abundance was the number of PRs earned throughout the night! Moore, Spangler, and Scretchen continued to lead the way in field events, and running events of particular excitement were the girls hurdles, the1600 where 10 MS tigers earned PRs, and all relays which executed improved handoffs and earned top finishes and times. A HUGE shout out and CONGRATULATIONS to our 21 5th graders who competed with PRIDE and impressive skill in their first USN meet! The future is looking fast for USNTF. Our Tigers head into their HVAC Championship meet next week at MBA and FRA. Complete results are linked here.

A small but mighty group of Tigers took to the RC this afternoon for their second home meet of the season. The windy and warm conditions seemed to blow favor and PRs in the direction of our throwers and jumpers. Owen Spangler and Mahalia Moore each BLEW the field away in their respective Discus and Long Jump fields. breaking the 100ft mark for the first time, Spangler joined the triple digit club with a huge throw of 102’ while Moore hit a jump of over 16’! Several other great efforts and performances were given before the meet was cut short due to inclement weather just before the 1600. Results for the events that were completed are available HERE.
