Share your book character pumpkins in the library

by Emily Theobald, Lower School librarian

Help your child decorate a pumpkin as a book character, and it will be displayed in the Hassenfeld Library this month.

The Lower School Library is getting into the fall spirit by decorating with your favorite book characters created out of pumpkins.

Guidelines:
  • Use a small or medium-sized pumpkin to create your project. We recommend an artificial pumpkin for less mess in the library.
  • If you choose a real pumpkin or gourd, please do not bring carved entries. You can use paper, glue, paint, pipe cleaners, fabric, or other craft items to decorate your pumpkin. Be creative.
  • Bring your pumpkin to school between Wednesday, Oct. 18 and Friday, Oct. 27.
  • Contact Lower School Librarian Emily Theobald with any questions.
