Too little, too late for the Tigers on Friday night
A second half run wasn't enough to top the Bruisers.
Olivia Dossett led the team Friday night in Chattanooga with five goals and five draw controls. The Tigers made a late second half run, outscoring the Bruisers seven goals to none in the last ten minutes of play. Unfortunately, that left us still one goal short and with a loss to start the trip.
Lucy Kloeppel added four goals, Ella Steinhilber had three, and Marin Kirshner and Mary Sophia Reich each had one. Mary Sophia was strong on the circle with four draw controls.
Mary Sophia had a low angle 8m opportunity for the tie with less than one second to play, but was unable to get it past the goalie.
Overall, it was a great fight from the Tigers, but we just ran out of time.
