Lisa Preston: Why I Teach

I teach because I enjoy connecting with children, sharing with them and learning about the things that interest them. Children are full of ideas that many times surprise me and help me see them in a whole new way--those moments make me a better teacher.
USN provides a place of challenge and growth; if you can dream of an idea and show that it is good for kids, you can usually find support to pursue it. That freedom of creativity makes USN a very dynamic place to be!
