  • Tigers get win on the road

    Coach Anderson
The Hawks took the road to matchup with the Ezell-Harding Eagles. From the onset the Hawks set the tone and took the game to the eagles who with a depleted 7/8 roster dressed and player their 6th graders. The Eagles were no match for the apparent size and skill gap one would assume in the unfortunate circumstances for Ezell-Harding, but it was a boost to the Harding Hawks confidence to put together sustainable drives and put point on the board. Leading 20-0 at halftime, the Hawks scored on their first two possessions from scrimmage and were able to play all of their younger players throughout the 3rd and 4th quarter, providing them with significant experiences to learn from in a 32-0 win. The Hawks will suit up again on Wednesday, September 25th for their last home game vs Grace Christian Academy.

  • Hawks lose home opener to the Wildcats

    Coach Anderson
The Hawks took to a Neutral site, MBA, field to play their first game of the season against the BGA Wildcats. Rostering a good number of players, the Hawks looked to start the season with a win. With many new players to the game of football, the Hawks had some untimely and unfortunate mistakes throughout the game that gave the Wildcats multiple opportunities to keep their drives alive. The Wildcats QB ran and accounted for 24 of their 30 points. The Hawks had a TD called back early on from because of a holding penalty and could not find the right chemistry to move the ball forward consistently. Eight graders, Ellis Masiac, Aayen Parikh and Tej Morrison, were able to provide some much needed depth for the Hawks in their 30-0 defeat. The Hawks will take to the road in their next game against Pope Prep in Hendersonville.
