USN drops to Valor in a close one!

Valor got an early goal on a defensive mistake and it ended up being the only goal of the game.
Mattie James Bass '29 had a tremendous game and showed lots of versatility as we moved her all over the field!  Her hustle and grit kept us in the game.

Elizabeth Geiger '30 had a solid second half at center back, clearing the ball and giving us good shape in the back.  Sydney Lasher '29 and Kenzie Burke '29 both pressured the back line of Valor and set us up with chances to score.  Hattie Bishop '29 had a great game in goal, particularly coming off of her line and gathering through balls.

We would have loved the win and we're going to keep working on our possession game.  Keep it up, Tigers!
