By Ashley Bosshart and Charlotte Langerman, Fall Book Frenzy Co-Chairs
Fall Book Frenzy puts more than 10,000 books and games within affordable reach of the University School of Nashville community and greater Nashville. A used book and media sale, it provides an annual opportunity to fund USN’s Hassenfeld Library’s most popular and impactful programming, such as the Author-in-Residence program, book clubs, and Read Across USN Week. It also enables USN to participate in BookBreak, a virtual author visit subscription whose fees allow USN to sponsor a school that could otherwise not fund such valuable literacy and reading appreciation programs.
There are many ways to support and enjoy Fall Book Frenzy:
Donate gently used books, puzzles, and games at morning car lines from Monday, September 9 through Monday, September 23.
Volunteer during the Fall Book Frenzy “season.” Shifts are available to: collect donations in the morning car lines; sort, organize, and shelve donations; and, work the sale in roles such as replenishing inventory, organizing merchandise, and facilitating checkout
Shop at Fall Book Frenzy on Thursday, September 26, Friday, September 27, and Saturday, September 28 (see details below).
