BSU hosts annual toy drive

The Black Student Union's annual Toy Drive is collect gifts through Friday, December 6. This drive is a chance for University School of Nashville to give to the Edgehill community during the holiday season. We ask that everyone bring new and packaged toys to donation boxes at the 19th Avenue entrance and on each floor. View the BSU's wishlist here.

Q: Who does the Toy Drive benefit?
A: The Toy Drive benefits the Easley Community Center, which is located in our Edgehill Community and hosts the largest number of youth programs out of 27 community centers.

Do you know how long the BSU has organized a toy drive?
A: This is the fifth year that our Black Student Union has organized this Toy Drive to benefit Easley and Metro Parks and Recreation. Our students, faculty, and families have shown a wonderful giving spirit by providing donations for the past four years, and we are looking to share that same spirit with Easley again this year. All of the toys collected will be taken to the Easley Community Center on Friday, December 13.

Are there any particular toys that the BSU is looking for?
A: We typically collect toys for children ages 1-12 but will also accept toys for other ages. We have also created a QR code for donations to be purchased online and sent directly to USN. Families can donate from the comfort of their homes to give gifts to others over the holiday season.
